Education: Graduated from the cinema institute in 1975. Inas El Degheidy has worked as an assistant director on about 40 films, and has directed 11 films. She directed her first film in 1985 and was considered the first Egyptian woman director. Her film "Dantella" won the prize for the best director in the Korea Film Festival. Her films participated in many international film festivals around the world (Cannes, Berlin, Moscow, Venesse, Chicago, Damascus, Vienna, Dortmund, Dusseldorf).
